Abraham Devenport cruised to a five-second victory in the season-opening meet at San Gabriel Park.

The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2014 fall term and 475 student-athletes made the list including 71 Southwestern student-athletes.
